About Ryan Fletcher

From an early age Ryan Fletcher has successfully combined his passion for both aviation and photography. His mother flew with Ansett Airlines for 26 years and so Ryan’s love of commercial aircraft and airport operations grew from the hundreds of trips to Melbourne’s Tullamarine airport. As his father is ex-RAAF it was not surprising that Ryan soon shared his love of military aircraft, particularly the warbird scene. What began as mere interests rapidly developed into his true vocation.

Ryan established his photography business in 2004 and has been a regular on the Australia & New Zealand air show circuit for several years. His work has been published in such magazines as Aero Australia, Australian Aviation and Pacific Flyer as well as numerous aviation photography web sites. His work was showcased in the 2005 Australian International Air Show official Book. Ryan has also been contracted by organizations such as the Aviation Theory Centre to provide photography for Australian Defence Force training manuals and other exacting projects.

Ryan’s goals are to seek perfection in the depiction of flight – he hopes that through his works you can join him on his journey.
